We're looking for a few good people to support grassroots civil society in Asia. Here are a few things you can do to stay plugged in and contribute to the work.

donate
We rely on individual donors for a major part of our support. Click on this button to give to Asia Catalyst! Your tax-deductible gift will help nonprofits in Asia to get their start.
Asia Catalyst is proud to act as a fiscal sponsor for the documentary Who Killed Chea Vichea?  You may donate to WKCV via Asia Catalyst's online Paypal account: CLICK HERE, or mail a check payable to Asia Catalyst (please write WKCV in the memo line).

If you prefer not to donate online, please mail your check to Asia Catalyst, P.O. Box 20839, New York, NY 10009. And thank you!

internships
Asia Catalyst accepts applications for graduate internships all year. Our graduate interns don't just make photocopies -- they are an active part of our staff and have input into policy and program. Our deadlines are December 1 (for the spring semester), May 1 (for the summer), and September 1(for the fall).

Applicants should be self-starters, passionate about social justice, should have some background in Asia, and should work well as part of a team. We especially seek applicants with research and writing experience and with field experience in Asia. Graduate interns are responsible for design and implementation of projects, and have input into the strategic direction of the organization. All interns also do some administrative work.

It is expected that an intern will spend a minimum of 10 hours a week working for Asia Catalyst, including a mandatory orientation, a mandatory staff meeting every other Sunday, and a short phone meeting each week with the project director. Interns should be based in New York. The internship is unpaid. University credit may be arranged.

Please write to info@asiacatalyst.org with a resume and 1-page cover letter in English describing your experience and qualifications, and provide contact information for two references. Applicants who do not include these materials will not be considered. We will only contact applicants we wish to interview.  We will accept applications on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
